Field trips
In 2025 we welcomed a total of 4000 students and chaperones!
Wander’s Tiny Farm can be booked for school, daycare, or group home trips on days we are not open to walk-in visitors. School, daycare, or group home trips can be booked year-round. Our farm is lots of fun for pre-school kids till about grade 4. We have heard from many teachers Wander’s Tiny Farm was one of the most fun and relaxed fields trip they been on. Because of the variety of activities there is something for all kids and chaperones have great oversight.
How a typical field trip goes:
The group is welcomed & activities and rules will be explained
The group will be told when to gather to feed the calves a bottle (only available when we have calves)
Backpacks will be dropped of in the play barn
Kids can roam the farm in small groups with a chaperone or chaperones spread out and kids move freely (this is usually the most fun and relaxed option)
The kids explore, feed the animals, and play till lunch time
Packed lunch in the Play Barn
After lunch; roasting marshmallows by the fireplace in small groups, free play time
Rounding up, group photo, & exchanging the sandpit treasures for a little treat.
